What to Expect Emotionally Post-Op
Post-surgery emotions are normal and valid. You may experience: grief (especially after hysterectomy), relief mixed with sadness, anger if results were different than hoped, fear about recovery, intense gratitude, or unexpected weeping. All of it is okay. All of it is real. You survived. Give yourself time.
